In the Summer we shoot at the Corus (Deeside) Sports and Social Club from which we got our name. We can be found at the club most Sundays between March and October on the field all morning from about 9:30am. We also shoot on Wednesday evenings from about 5.30pm. Club days are every day of the week, but we all try to meet up on Sundays and Wednesdays.

The winter we move into the warm at Deeside College, on Sunday mornings between 10am and 1pm.

The location of both may be found on the attached document below or on this Google Map Link.

Directions for Outside Field

From Chester/Wrexham

Head west on A55 and stay on the road as it bears hard right towards Queensferry and becomes the A494.

Go down the hill and take the Queensferry exit.

At the roundabout, take the 1st exit and drive past ASDA on the left. After passing the Ice Rink on the right go through the first set of lights. Go straight at the next set of lights and then look for Rowleys Drive on the Right after about 100 yards.

Go down Rowleys Drive, bear right and over the hump-back bridge. Watch for speed bumps on the opposite side. The sports field is on your left with the entrance at the end of the road. Park on the main club car park and make your way past the club house to the far corner where our huts are.

From Flint
Head southeast on A548/Holywell Rd Through Oakenholt

Continue to follow A548 and take the exit for Connah’s Quay and drive into Connah’s Quay on Kelsterton Rd. Continue onto Church St, and onto High St. Continue on Chester Rd West. Drive past the shops and under the railway bridge. After 150 yard, Rowleys Drive will be on your left.

Go down Rowleys Drive, bear right and over the hump-back bridge. Watch for speed bumps on the opposite side. The sports field is on your left with the entrance at the end of the road. Park on the main club car park and make your way past the club house to the far corner where our huts are.

Field Archery

For the daring amongst us, we occasionally use the facilities of CCB's field shooting venue (which they kindly allow us to do).

This ocurrs through the year on fixed weekends. See the committee / emails for details. If you are coming to the shoot the map is attached below - Mouldsworth.
